Robert C. Babkowski MD, MMM - Co President

Dr. Babkowski is the Chief of Pathology and Laboratory Medical Director of Stamford Health System in Fairfield County, Connecticut. He is the founder and president of Stamford Pathology Group PC. Besides being responsible for the management of a complex hospital laboratory with a large outreach business in a competitive geography, he holds multiple leadership positions at Stamford Hospital, serves as CAP Delegation Chair for CT, is an active CAP LAP inspector, and is the CAC Pathology representative to National Government Services. He is clinically active – specializing in breast pathology and cytopathology.

Robert has been a member of APF since 1996, and joined the BOD in 2012. He received his BS in Neuroscience, BA in Community Medicine, MD degree – all from the University of Rochester, where he also stayed for his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He did his fellowship in cytopathology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and attained his MMM from USC Marshall School of Business.
